A good Fitness Routine.......

Hello ladies,

It's been 2 years now since I have started a completely new healthy lifestyle made of healthy eating and daily exercising (or at least almost). During these 2 years I have been using my elliptical machine to exercise 30 minutes every day and then I also did some toning exercises either standing on the floor or lying on my mat. This exercise routine has helped lose several kilos (as you can read here http://alessiapearl.blogspot.com/2011/09/how-i-lost-22-poundsand-how-i-finally.html).

However, losing weight is not enough when you want to look great. It is also necessary to lose inches and clothing sizes as well as toning. And this is what I have achieved thanks to my new exercise routine which I have been following for almost 6 months. This exercise routine consists of 20 to 30 minutes alternating RESISTANCE, CARDIO, and ABS exercises. This routine normally starts with a warm up, is then followed by 3 circuits each made up of 2 minutes resistance or weight training, then 2 minutes cardio exercises and finally 1 minute abs. The exercises in each circuit are obviously different because the more you surprise your body and put it through change the more it will respond with effective toning and shrinking results. Below are various routines which I have practiced during the initial period of these 6 months:

If you would like to start practicing the Jillian Michaels routines, I would suggest you to follow the schedule below for some effective results.

Week 1 Day 1: Do the 30 days Shred 1
             Day 2: Do the 30 days Shred 1 again
             Day 3: Do the cardio kickbox routine
             Day 4: Take the day off
             Day 5: Do the 30 days Shred 1 again
             Day 6: Do the 30 days Shred 2
             Day 7: Take the day off

             Day 3: Do the cardio kickbox routine

If you wish to do so you can buy the 30 days shred DVD and continue the exercises routines from day 4. VERY IMPORTANT! Each day after your scheduled routine do some toning exercises on the mat such as single crunches, double crunches, sit ups, crunches with one leg vertical, side crunches on both sides, knee and legs crunches. Do each exercise 60 times and your abs will start looking fabulous in no time.
