Holiday Outfit 1: Preppy & Girly

Yesterday was the 13th December, Republic Day in Malta and hence a public feast. Together with the 6th December, this feast is one of those days Maltese use to get in the Christmas spirit by taking the time to enjoy Christmas markets and do some Christmas Shopping. Yesterday an event was organized at our local Airport to allow people to shop in the departure area. Since I missed it last year I was curious to attend this year. Here is what I wore. I opted for a black outfit with silver glitters and accessories. The outfit I put together is on the preppy and girly side, great for family occasions or any situation in which you want to look cute. This outfit was also warm enough, comfortable and very versatile. In fact by simply removing the white layer with the collar peaking out and replacing the flats with some heels, the look would go from cute and girly to less casual and more grown up.

I am wearing: a black basic long sleeve vest from Zara, black tick tights from a local market, black flats from New Look, black skater skirt from Tally Weijl (hauled here), cream shirt with peter pan collar from Terranova, black and silver striped top from Terranova, black coat from Stradivarius, black quilted bag from Stradivarius (hauled here), silver statement necklace from Elle's and Essence Galactic Black on my nails.

What about you, have you had any occasion to wear a glitzy piece so far this month? And would you go for a preppy girly look or for a more modern one?

STAY FAB
