Summer 2012 Black Outfit....featuring cigarette pants

I know, I know....This post should be a beauty related skincare/makeup product review. But last week I haven't had the chance to purchase anything new for skincare and makeup. And even though, I have a foundation review which I have been wanting to post for weeks, this is still work in progress since I want it to be as accurate as possible. But I promise next Monday I will be back with a beauty product review. For now you can either look at my past reviews like the La Roche Posay Softening Foaming Gel, my ELF Makeup Review, Dermaveen Oatmeal Shampoo & Conditioner Review, Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser Review  or the La Roche Posay Thermal Spring Water Review. Or if you prefer fashion posts you can keep on reading this one.....

Lately, I have been realizing it's time for me to start wearing less casual and more smart put together outfits. It's not that I do not like dressing up. In fact I do and a lot. But dressing up is more time consuming and can also be more expensive and sometimes less comfortable, if it involves wearing high heels which I am not a fan of (or at least my feet aren't). However, the extra hassle is definitely worth it because at least for me it brings along more confidence and a happier mood. This is why I have promised myself to start purchasing less casual pieces and more smart, even if casual smart ones which can be great both for work, running errands or leisure time. You'll notice this change in the way I am trying to dress in my next haul posts which should be coming soon.

Anyway, for this outfit of the afternoon I decided to wear my new black cigarette pants which I fell in love with as soon as I touched the silky smooth fabric. I needed to look put together but comfortable because I was going again shopping with my husband last Saturday. So I paired the pants with my new taupe embellished ankle strap ballet pumps, which ended up being not so comfortable since they caused me blisters on both feet. For tops I was going back and forth between the black one I ended up wearing and a white one with voluminous shoulders. I finished the look with the same Accessorize bag I featured in my Modern Whimsical Outfit since it went so nicely with the embellished shoes and a shiny bronze belt. I really liked this outfit and I felt good in it, both in terms of style and comfort. The thing I loved most were the pockets in my pants!

I am Wearing
Black cigarette pants from Zara sales
Black top from Mango (old)
Bronze belt from Stradivarius (winter sales)
Taupe embellished ballet pumps from Stradivarius Sales
Embellished purse from Accessorize (old)
Black and gold bracelet from Accessorize Sales
Gold and crystal studs from Tally Weijl

STAY FAB
