Animal Print for the Weekend

Animal Print for the Weekend

Animal Print for the Weekend by alessiapearl featuring flat shoes

Last Friday, I posted the first part of this blog post series on animal print. It's the post Scared of Animal Print?...Classic Outfits. This week I wanted to continue this series with a post showing how to wear subtle and tasteful animal print for the weekend from day, with a casual outfit, to night, with one relaxed look and a more fancy outfit.

As I already said in my first post, animal print might be scary if you are not used to wearing it. But it can be as tasteful and chic as any other print or non-printed outfit. You just have to be careful in how you pair it. And if you are brave enough to wear an animal print dress (like the ones in my classic outfits post) to work, you should definitely rock an animal print dress for your weekend.

The first outfit above shows a very casual but still chic day outfit. It 's a great pairing for a day of shopping, or for an excursion day when you are on holiday. But you can also wear it out for a relaxed evening at the cinema or for a walk and ice cream kind of date night. I love how the tan cross over bag brings together the whole outfit by injecting a little bit of colour while still keeping the look classic and elegant but in an effortless way.

The second outfit is more suitable for a fancy date night or even for an evening event like a fancy party or an evening wedding. The sheer spotted shoes go well with the animal spots on the dress and the light purse and earrings bring some light to the entire look.

The third and final outfit is a great one for a nice dinner with your girlfriends, or a night at your holiday resort. But this can also be worn during the day for a fancy Sunday brunch because of the lighter earthy colours. It's a very modern edgy look but still feminine. Below are the pieces I used to put together the above 3 outfits.
