Work hard & you will get your results!
If you have read my Healthy Eating....Summer 2012 update post, you already know that I have given myself 6 new rules to follow when cooking and eating. Almost one month has passed since I started following the guidelines, and I must say I am feeling great not only physically (in terms of being satisfied with each meal and snack) but also psychologically (because I am happier and proud of my super healthy eating).
Although I have been eating healthier than I used to for the last 3 years, to me my healthy eating is a journey which involves not only losing weight and maintaining the achieved results but especially learning and growing as a person by being more conscious about my food choices but at the same time being able to reach a state of being in which I am finally happy with my body and also happy and satisfied with what I am eating. This is only possible if you understand that eating healthy is not the means to losing weight and going back to eating unhealthy, but it's the way you can be healthy, happy and satisfied all at the same time!
So it shouldn't come as a surprise that I am constantly posting about updating and changing my eating habits because change is at the base of growing and improving and is what makes this healthy eating journey such a great experience.
Losing weight is easier than you think. Eating healthy is the key.
However, it has to be a lifetime commitment!
However, sometimes changes and are not always successful. After all trials and errors are at the base of improving. This is why so many times I have started following a certain healthy eating concept or theory and then realized it wasn't really doing what I had expected from it. This time however, these new healthy eating guidelines have really made an impact on my body, my mood, my mind and my life in general. This is why I couldn't wait any longer to share these positive effects with you. And here they are...
- Reduced bloating (it is actually almost gone)
- A feeling of satisfaction as opposed to uncomfortable fullness after eating
- No more nausea
- No more stomach pain and discomfort on a constant basis
- A flat stomach
- No more hunger and feeling weak in between meals and snacks
- No more cravings for pasta, bread and baked desserts
- No more stuffing myself during the weekends
- No more sick Mondays
- No more feeling guilty
My aim with these posts is to help people out there getting on track with their healthy eating and joining me on this healthy eating journey.
Start your journey!
STAY FAB
