Find the Right Bikini.....and feel great all Summer!

Very few women out there have a perfect body. And even those who almost have it might not really appreciate it because they concentrate on that one thing which they do not like. This is why finding the bikini, swimsuit or other type of swimwear which not only makes you feel comfortable but also look great is so difficult. However, it is so important to actually have that one beach wear ensemble which we know we can rely on to feel confident and have a great time. Below are a few tips to help you figure out which type of swimwear is the best for your shape. So if you need some extra help in choosing the right bikini (swimsuit or other) keep reading...

PEAR SHAPE

If you have a larger lower body than your upper part:

1. You can opt for a skirted swimwear which covers your derriere and your hips as in the picture above.

2. If you are super conscious and uncomfortable with your hips and bum, you can wear a swim dress like the ones above and below.

3. The easiest solution to cover a larger lower body is to wear a sarong. Go for one which is not completely see through but still light and comfortable to wear over your favourite bikini like Kim is doing below.

 4. Do not cover your stomach if you have a nice flat one.

5. Add volume on top with an underwire push up bikini top to help you balance the larger lower body. Frills might help.

APPLE SHAPE

If your main problem is your stomach and tummy area:

1. Go for a tankini with frills on top like the above one.

2. Choose a tankini with good support and ruching in front to disguise the extra tummy.

TO COVER CELLULITE OR A NOT SO TONED LOWER BODY

1. The best way to do so is with a skirted bikini and with a sarong.

FULL FIGURED

1. The above swimsuit style is perfect for the full figured who is also pear shape. The extra fabric on top balances the larger hips. And the nicely defined waist makes you look gorgeous.

2. If you opt for the classic swimsuit, make sure to get one with good support. Darker colours will also help but most importantly prints will help you disguise those parts you do not want to emphasize.

3. You can also wear a swim dress as long as it has good support and cinches you in at the waist.

4. Or if you prefer you can wear a tankini which is slightly loose at the top. This is a good option if you are also on the apple side.

STRAIGHT SLIM FIGURE

For those thin girls which have a straight body and would love to have curves:

1. Add volume on top with a frilled balconette (as above) or with lots of frills (as below)

2. Choose a fun bright printed bikini.

3. Add volume to your lower body with a short frilled skirted bikini bottom like the one below.

PREGNANT

If you are expecting you have nothing to be shy about or hide.

1. Wear a swimsuit with extra fabric on top to disguise the tummy if it makes you more comfortable especially at the beginning when your tummy is growing but you have no bump.

2. This fun tankini is great for expecting mums with a cute bump.

THE LUCKY HOURGLASS

And if you are among the lucky ones who have an hour glass silhouette with no extra tummy, love handles or cellulite you can wear whatever you like. Bright colours, stripes and polka dots are always good options.
