Mint nails

Hello ladies,

It has been about 1 month since my last post and I have missed blogging so much, but I was on holiday and I had no Internet connection available. However, now I am back and I have so many blog posts I want to write.

For this on holiday nail of the week I used a new nail polish which I bought on holiday in Catania. The polish is 53 You belong to me by Essence and as you can see is a beautiful minty colour. I have been wanting a minty colour since the beginning of Spring when Missglamorazzi on You Tube stated raving about the Essie Minty Candy Apple polish.

I achieved this nail of the week by:

1. Giving myself a basic manicure;
2. I then applied my Rimmel London Nail Rescue;
3. Then I applied 1 coat of the Essence nail polish No. 53
4. Then I finished with 2 coats of my Rimmel Nail Treat & Top Coat Total Care Action.

This colour is so gorgeous that I applied it also on my toe nails. I initially thought it would be difficult to wear this nail polish as it can easily clash with your outfits. However, I ended up keeping it an entire week and wearing it with bright colours like coral and mint as well as with basic colours like black, beige and brown.

This nail polish comes in a small 5 ml bottle and it only costs 1.29. In my opinion, it compares very well to Rimmel  60 seconds nail polishes and it has a good quality both in terms of consistency as it is neither too liquid nor too thick and it lasted me 1 week which is something rare for me.

So if you want a dupe for the more expensive minty nail polish I think this is the one!
