Makeup for red lips....

Hello again,

Here is the makeup look tutorial I promised you in my last post. The products I have used are the following:
  • Missha BB Cream SPF 20
  • Maybelline Affinitone concealer
  • Gosh Quattro Eye Shadow in 21 Baroque
  • Missha Golden rose blush in 208
  • Body Shop cheek colour in shade 7
  • Rimmel lip liner pencil in red dynamite
  • Missha The Style light lipgloss in red 001
  • Black eye pencil liner
For the face. Start with a clean and moisturized face. Apply your foundation. For this look I have applied the Missha BB cream which I got as a sample (I will be reviewing this foundation very soon). I applied it with my fingers. I didn't use powder because my face is a bit dehydrated so with powder it can look dry at times plus I wanted a dewy look. So if you prefer use powder and apply primer before your foundation. I only use primer in summer.

For the eyes. I would suggest you prime your eyes but if you don't have an eye primer like me you can use your concealer after having applied some foundation on your lids. This should even out the colour of the lids and make the colour you apply stand more.
Start by applying the lightest shade in the gosh palette all over the lid. Repeat this step 3 times to make the eyes pop with the light pink. Next step is to define your crease with the second lighter shade which is opposite to the light pink in the palette. Apply this from the outer crease to the inner part of your crease. Repeat this step 2 or 3 times depending on how much you want your crease to be defined. Finally define your outer crease with the light brown by applying just a little as you want your eyes to be soft. Use this last colour below your lower lash line and then line the lower water line with the black pencil liner. I would suggest you apply some mascara. I have stepped this step as I didn't want to have the mascara smudged against my spectacles.

For the cheeks. I first applied the lighter pink blush by Missha and then the darker blush by Body shop layering the second on top of the first one to make the cheeks a bit more coloured since I am so pale.

For the lips.  I first applied a balm which I always do before applying any lip product. I then lined my lips with the red lip liner and filled them in. And I completed my red lips with a touch of red gloss.

You should try this look. You can also wear it for daytime by making the lips lighter and using no or just a little gloss.

I would like to see how you wear red lips and what eye shadows colours you use. Leave some comments or post some pictures.
