Spring Work look 4

This week work look is fresh, young and very Spring appropriate both in terms of the soft colours and the floral print. It's a great work look for the office as well as for doctors, teachers, artists and entrepreneurs. It's easy to put together and is also quiet comfortable with trousers instead of a skirt and with the relatively low heel. If you like this look make sure to check out Look 1, Look 2 and Look 3.

Spring at Work Look 3

Unless you have a strict dressing code to follow, who said business smart clothing should be boring? Have fun with your work outfits and incorporate some colour and print. I love the look below. It's modern, edgy, vibrant and fun. But it's still put together and smart. If you follow Hart of Dixie, I think this is a look which Zoe Hart would be likely to wear for her work days.

SPRING AT WORK.....Look 1

Spring is here. The days are getting longer and brighter, and the air is much warmer. Finally we can have fun styling outfits without having to cover them up with thick coats and chunky scarfs.Injecting Spring into your looks shouldn't be reserved to the weekends. This Spring you should have fun with your work looks too. This is the first post of my Spring at Work series, which is meant to be an inspiration series for all the women struggling with what to wear on work days.

The first look is going to be a classic one. Black is going to be huge this season, especially for tailored pieces like blazers, trousers and suits. Rather than pairing black with white, which is in my opinion a little bit more modern and Summery, I decided to pair the black blazer from Zara with a textured and highly detailed pair of grey lace pants. Because all the other pieces are black, I think the grey trousers paired with the silver statement necklace give this first work look a very classy chic feel. Combined together these pieces give this look a classic, modern and slightly vintage feel. This first look is the perfect one to transition into Spring.

Summer Work Dresses

With Summer being at its peak now, it can be difficult to decide what to wear to work. You want to be put together and smart looking but still be comfortable and airy as well as wear the least amount of clothes possible. With all these necessities in mind, the perfect garment to wear when it's super hot outside is a light Summer dress. So select a nice casual smart dress or a more classic one, and then dress it up with heels, a nice handbag and few accessories. Don't forget to add colour to your Summer dresses. Now, it's the right time to do so!

Above are four looks, each featuring a different Summer dress, I have put together on my Polyvore account. As you might see from the above image, each outfit is balanced in terms of colour. The key is to pair a coloured dress with neutral accessories while adding colourful pieces to dresses in either solid colour sor more muted prints. Below are the pieces of clothing and accessories I used for the above looks.
