Christmas Spirit

Getting in the Christmas spirit might not be always easy. You might have had to work hard up till Christmas Eve, and consequently you might not have had the chance to decorate your house, go Christmas Shopping, do some Christmas cooking and plan your Christmas eve and Christmas day. If you are lucky to have a family, and you are able to still get there in time, there is no better way to get in the Christmas spirit - even though you have not prepared for it. Think about it, your mum will be ecstatic about having you there. I am sure your family house will be decorated and she will be cooking your favorurite dishes butmost importantly you will be spending your Christmas with people who love you. If on the other hand, you cannot make it in time to be physically there, and you end up on your own here is what you can do to get in the Christmas Spirit: get a small Christmas three, light it up, bake and cook something quickly and watch a movie. Do not feel sorry for yourself, but rather think about the great things you have in your life and the results of your hard work. And don't forget that there now are many ways to be with your loved ones - even if not physically (think skype)!

Even for those of us who have been decorating their house, have done Christmas shopping and baking and planned their Christmas celebrations for the entire month of December, it might still be difficult to get in the Christmas Spirit - especially if you live in a country where it doesn't snow or where it is Summer and if you your loved ones are working on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. What I like to do to get in the Christmas spirit is light up my Christmas decorations, have a nice but healthy breakfast (in preparation of all the eating which is to come), do some last minute baking and Christmas cooking, write my Christmas cards, paint my nails and finish packing the last few gifts. I also love writing something Christmasy on my blog, wishing you all a Merry Christmas - hoping that you cherish these moments with your loved ones. What about you? What do you do to get in the Christmas spirit?

STAY FAB & MERRY CHRISTMAS
