I want to start this post by emphasizing the importance to stay in shape all year round, rather than only during the bikini and shorts season. In fact, you should be fit for your own self, to feel healthy and not only look fit. You should like your body the entire year. And most important, you shouldn't be getting weight on during winter and loosing it each year for summer, hence stretching and shrinking your skin like a yo-yo!
So I hope, each one of you reading this post will be motivated to get in shape for Summer while maintaining the results achieved throughout the next year and many more to come. The key to reach that point where you don't need to lose several pounds to feel good while showing some extra skin is certainly to eat healthy day by day and exercise at least 5 times a week. Of course you will get those days when you can enjoy your favourite foods, and give yourself a break from working out. But the best part of getting healthy and fit is that your body will start loving both the healthy foods and the exercise to a point where it won't be able to live without them.
Below is a list of all the workouts I did last week day by day. I must say, I pushed myself through harder routines. And during those 5 days I did feel the hard work in my muscles since they were sore. But that was great because it meant I got some good toning results. I chose various types of workouts with the aim to work out different parts of my body, but in particular I tried to focus on those muscles which I normally do not exercise that much since they are more difficult to be affected by common moves. Anyway, here is my 1 WEEK WORKOUT PLAN.
MONDAY or DAY 1
- Warm up for 5 minutes

But most importantly......you will feel great!
You can find all of the above workout online by just clicking on each link. To perform most of the routines you will simply need some comfortable clothes and sports shoes, as well as a mattress and some hand weights (you can choose your own weights depending on how strong and fit you already are).
Once you go through this week, hoping that you still want to continue exercising, you have the following options:
- You can repeat this 1 week workout plan day by day for one more week but even for a full month
- You can choose which workouts to do each day from the list provided (trying to do at least 40 to 45 minutes a day)
- You can go back to your favourite workouts or find new ones
Whatever you decide to do, make sure to switch workouts after few days and do not repeat them for too many weeks. This is necessary if you want your body to keep getting fit. Repeating the same exercise for many days in a row will make your body get used to it and it won't really be affected by it, meaning that you will burn very few calories and you won't be toning any muscles since the muscles are already used to those moves.......So don't forget to keep changing your workouts to continue getting fit and also have fun!
