Winter Shoes 2012.......A HAUL

Remember my "How to shop the January Sales" post? If you haven't read it you can view it here http://alessiapearl.blogspot.com/2012/01/how-to-shopjanuary-sales.html. I hope my sales tips were helpful for you. They certainly were for me. I followed each one of my 10 tips and the result was 3 very successful shopping trips during the Winter Sales. I am really happy about each single item I got. And I must say I got several items which I had wanted for a long time and some necessities too. The best thing is that I bought a lot but spent very little and all of the purchases are good quality ones. So I am very excited to wear each piece and I have no regrets.......

In this post I will show you the shoes I got on sale. They were true bargains and I got them from 2 of my favourite shoe shops which are Darmanin and Bata.

I got these simple black pumps with a low heel great for interviews, work but also going out if you like me can't stand high heels.......These were reduced to 10 euros from 30 euros. I got them in a size 37 although I normally wear 38 because they were a little wide. I am kind of second guessing the size because the 38 would have allowed me to wear extra socks in winter but I am sure I will wear them a lot in the less cold months.

I then got some black boots which are slightly higher than ankle boots and have a similar low heel which is great to wear for every day when you are running around doing several things. I think these will look great with denim pants, leggings and also skirts and shorts worn with either leggings or tights. The price before sale was 50 euros but I got these for 25 euros. I got them in a size 38 to be able to wear thick socks in winter.

And finally my most exciting shoe purchase is definitely this last one. I got some real leather dark brown over the knee boots which I wasn't planning to. In fact, I always thought that these would look bad on me because I am very short. But these are just the perfect style for me. They are over the knee but not too high and they hug my knee without looking too large. They are also brown which is great since I needed some flat brown boots and they have a very low comfortable heel which makes them great to wear with casual looks as well as more put together ones..... These were the best purchase in terms of price. I got them for only 28 euros reduced from 96 euros. I can't wait to style these!

STAY FAB
