Fall has started and it's now time to transition from summer lovely bright colours and light fabrics to darker, more monochromatic and calmer colours as well as heavier fabrics. However, don't forget to add a pop of colour either through a scarf, a belt, a handbag or a slightly brighter clothing item otherwise you will look boring and you don't want to, do you?
Every season has its own pieces including handbags. Certain ones which we have been wearing all summer will remain inside our wardrobes until next May. And those handbags which have been hiding onto our shelves during the hot months are now ready to be rocked. The handbag featured in this post is one of my fall winter handbags as I see it too boring for the warm season. Once back fom my holiday, I felt it was time to wear it and so here ae 2 outfits I wore during the last week with the same handbag.
The first outfit is more casual and simple. I wanted to wear my new flat sneakers (which I got during my holiday) but most importantly I wanted to achieve a relaxed look for a day full of running around for food shopping. I initially was going for a more put together look by wearing a beige jacket but then I decided to give myself a pop of colour by wearing this coral open cardigan.
The second outfit is more edgy. In fact I would have never dreamed of wearing so many colours together without matching my shoes with my belt and with my handbag. However, reading blogs, watching you tube videos on fashion and looking through magazines made me understand that one can look put together without being matchy but most important matchy matchy is now boring boring!
