Rose Libertine Nail polish

Hi everyone,

Here's my second nails of the week post. I just wanted to say that I don't make these posts every week just because in between weeks I am wearing bright colours I like to have weeks during which I wear just transparent nail polish or french pink. If you are interested in seeing these nails of the week as posts I will post them as well.

I also wanted to say that normally the nail polish lasts me 4 days because I wash lots of dishes and clothes without wearing my gloves as I find them not practical enough. I took the pictures below on the 3rd day and there was already some chipping. Here are the pictures of my nails for this week which by the way was my birthday week. I will also be posting an outfit of the day which I wore on my birthday.

The nail polish I am wearing is by Rimmel 60 seconds and it is in the shade 405 Rose Libertine. I would describe it as a warm and intense peachy rose with some touch of coral in it . I think this colour is ideal for the summer while the nail polish featured in my nails of the week 1 (230 Portobello Pink)was a cool bright pink, in my opinion more ideal for spring.

Of course it can still be worn during summer but be careful when pairing it. May be you could use it in a colour blocking outfit when you are mixing warmer tones with cooler ones (For example when wearing orange or bright pink trousers with a white or cream top, you could colour block with portobello pink nail polish). I would also suggest you don't wear it with a totally cool toned outfit otherwise you will be missing that warm look we are all after during summer.

I really like pairing the Rose Libertine with warm floral clothes to give you a warmer overall look (you can see this in my birthday outfit of the day). I also love how it complements my skin.

I hope this post is useful and I'll talk to you in the next post.

PS..StayFab,

AlessiaPearl.
