Winter makeup tutorial........

Hello everyone,

Winter is here and so is the cold weather. Everyone is wearing warm coats, hats and scarfs as well as those chunky and so comfortable sweaters as a screen from cold, wind and beautiful snow. Where I live we never get snow but I love the idea of a White Christmas and I also love to wear white garments in winter because they remind me of snow which I only saw once when I was on holiday in Britain. Few days ago I wore a white turtle neck top with a black/grey jeans and a grey sleeveless sweater (as you will see in the pictures below....excuse my hair but I had just washed it and didn't feel like straightening it) and I wanted to make the outfit more wintery by creating a frosty makeup look.

This makeup look was thus inspired by snow, cold and the resulting pink cheeks pop so nicely against white clothes.

Here is I achieved this soft look.

Face: I applied my mattifier primer by Body Shop, my Maybelline concealer to my undereye area and my matte pressed powder by Rimmel.

Eyes: I applied a soft light pink (both matte and shimmery pink can be used) to the entire lid. Then I applied charcoal grey to my outer lid corner and crease and I blended both eye shadows with a blending brush. Finally I used a white shadow to highlight the inner eye area and my eyebrow bone and I lined my lower water line with a black pencil. I didn't use mascara or eyeliner but if you wish to you can definitely do that at this point.

Cheeks: I applied a pink blush by Missha

Lips: I applied a light frosty pink lipstick

Hope you like this makeup look and give it a try. The eye shadow is not very visible because as I said this is a very soft look but it was visible on me and you can obviously make it darker if you prefer so. If you enjoyed this post read my next makeup post.

Take care and enjoy snow if you have it,

AlessiaPearl
