Christmas Gift Guide 1........

Hi everyone,

I know it's been long but I have been watching lots of you tube beauty videos and read blogs in this few weeks I haven't posted. I like to post only when I really feel like and I wanted to do a Christmas haul but I have already packed the gifts I bought. So I guess this will be like a gift purchase and packing guide.

First of all I want to say that this is my favourite period of the year and I know most people seem to say the same but it truly is, it always was and it always will hopefully. I don't know why exactly, but once December starts my mood changes and I become much more positive and happy throughout the day. It might be the Christmas decorations, the old Christmas songs playing in the background of most stores and TV promotions and the thought of getting close with family members and sharing love as well as exchanging gifts. I love the entire process of gift making from the stage when you start thinking about what to buy each loved person, through purchase, packaging until the final moment when you actually give the gift and look at the person reaction once opening it.

Each year the people I give gifts to include my parents, my husband (until last year fiance), my sister of course, my grandparents, my parents in law and sometimes a friend or two. I will briefly list the gifts I got each one and post pictures of the wrapped gifts too.
First is my sister and can say I got her some skincare products because I want her to start a skincare routine as she doesn't follow one. So I got her a cleanser for sensitive/dry skin and a moisturizer. I also got her a cute makeup palette in basic earth colours including white, beige, pink, brown, copper and gold shades. I also got one for me since I really liked the colours. I got her this small makeup gift because I would like her to start enjoying more girly stuff since she is now almost 18 and I guess she can share the eye shadows palette with my mum sometimes. I also plan to use this palette to do their makeup on Christmas day and for my grandparents'50th anniversary next month. I want to get her something else and probably it will be a clothing garment either some leggings or top or dress which she can wear on Christmas day.

For my mum I got a nice purple wool long top which she can wear over some trousers or jeans with some turtle neck under and I know she loves purple but hasn't got any winter tops in this colour. I also got her a nice necklace with kind of pearls and purple crystals which she can wear together with the top and she literally adores necklaces.

For my dad I got a nice charcoal pull over with grey stripes and it is lovely to wear with a shirt or just a t shirt on a jeans for a casual look or with some trousers for a more polished look. Normally I get him wine and chocolates but this period he is trying to eat healthy to manage his diabetes so I wanted to give him a healthy gift.

For my husband I got just a casual sweater for now because I would like to buy him a black smart jacket but I prefer to buy it with him so that I am sure the size is good. I guess I will wait for the post Christmas sales and give him the jacket as a new year gift.

For my grandparents I got just a nice Christmas cake and a bottle of champagne since they will have the anniversary in two weeks and I am going to give them the guests favors as my gift plus I am also taking care of their party organization.

For my husband mum we got a makeup bag with some body lotion, hand cream and a very nice bath brush as well as a scarf and some candies. Whereas for my father in law we got a bottle of wine and some chocolates as these are the only things we are sure he will like.

Hope you like this post and got some ideas for your Christmas gifts and wrapping and keep reading my posts. By the way I will soon post a guide to what to war on Christmas day.
