For the above look I took inspiration from one of Zoe Hart's outfits in season 1. She was actually wearing a black lace dress with a sort of cream blouse attachment, as you can see in the picture below. Although the dress was quiet intricate in its design, the look was pretty classic especially with the white and black colour combo going on. I decided to twist the classic black and white combo and give the black lace skirt a pop of colour. I did this by pairing the black lace skirt above with a cream blouse and a red blazer. I finished the look with black pumps, a cream clutch and gold accessories. This is definitely a more modern way to wear a black lace skirt. Below are the pieces I used to put together the above set.
