Choosing my outfits is very important and fun for me and it also takes me some time but this is worth it especially those days when my outfit really makes me feel confident and great. Remember that looking good can and will make you feel good or at least slightly better than what you would otherwise feel!
How I plan my outfits....
I really enjoy going through my favourite fashion blogs and website in my free time but especially at night before sleeping. I like to check daily anna saccone, dulcecandy and ascensionstyle blogs and also polyvore website. From these blogs I get some ideas about combining colours, textures and patters. Then I think about my wardrobe pieces and try to put together some outfits in my mind for different occasions. I might take some written notes or just keep these outfits ideas in my mind.
Other times I like to go into my favourite shops'websites like Dorothy Perkins, Stradivarius, H&M, Zara, New Look and some others. I first have a look at their new collection and see which pieces I like or I have something similar to them in my wardrobe. I also like to watch lookbook videos and catalogues to see how the stylists pair different colours and textures together for the season. And last but not least I really enjoy watching the season runway fashion shows of famous designers like Chanel, Dior, Marc Jacobs, Burberry, Hermes, D&G, Gucci, Chloe and many others.
All this will help me put together my outfits when I am going out. As you might have understood I like to shop in my own wardrobe, especially because I have many pieces which are still new. I love to find new ways to wear the same piece especially if it is one of my favourites clothing items. But I also like to see which are my favourite pieces from the season's new collections and plan on purchasing some of them. I do not like to spend lots of money at once cause that would make me feel very guilty.
