Spring and Summer are the easiest seasons for pairing pieces and putting outfits together. You simply throw on a dress and a pair of sandals, and you are good to go. One can have fun mixing prints and wearing brighter colours than usual. However, the less structured and flowy materials can sometimes look unfinished. And, showing too much skin can be not only unflattering but also inappropriate. Some balance must therefore be sought. We are lucky to have a broad source of inspiration, coming from the Runway and including not only the famous designers but also the up and coming ones. Below are my favourite looks from the runway, which summarize the trends I love the most for the current season.

Navy blues, icey pinks, blues and greys, white, creams, sandy colours, and black are the colours which are featured in the above looks. Most of them happen to be also the colours for the Spring and Summer 2015 according to Pantone's Colours' Report.
From the looks above it emerges that I am going for an elegant, classic with a modern twist, at times effortless style with colours and fabrics that feel breezy and relaxed, thus perfect for the hot Maltese Summer.
